How do I sign up?
You can subscribe at any time! Our boxes are sent bi-monthly at the end of June, August, October, December, February and April. If you join before the 15th of these months, your first box will arrive that month. If you join after this date, you will receive the next scheduled box.
When will I be billed and how much does my subscription cost.
The physical box subscription costs £24.50, payable bi-monthly plus postage. The digital subscription costs £4.50, payable bi-monthly.
Subscribers are charged for their first box when they initially subscribe. Recurring payments are charged on the 15th of each month a box is due to be sent i.e. on the 15th of August, October, December, February, April and June.
What are the postage costs?
We ship from the UK via Royal Mail. Our shipping costs, per box, are as follows:
- United Kingdom: £3.00
- Europe: £6.00
- Rest of the World: £9.00
There are no postage costs for the digital subscription.
When will my box be posted or my newsletter emailed?
We aim to post boxes so that they arrive on the last working day of each scheduled month.
The digital newsletter will always be sent on or before the last working day of each scheduled month.
Will I know what is in each box before it arrives?
The exact contents of the box will be a surprise! However, we can say that each box will always include a new and unique quilt pattern, a challenging quilting block, haberdashery goodies or a small sewing project and 4/5 fat quarters of modern quilting fabric or equivalent. If you follow us on Instagram we may even give the odd clue away!
How do I get an already released box?
We have a limited number of boxes available. If any boxes are left, after subscribers' boxes have been sent, they are listed in our shop at the higher price of £29.50 plus postage.
Previous' month's digital packages can be bought from our payhip store for the higher price of £9.00.
I would love to give a Modern Quilter’s Box as a gift, can I do this?
Of course! Modern Quilter’s Box will make a fabulous gift for a sewing friend!
You will need to sign up by placing a separate order that has the shipping address of where you would like the box sent. Your card will still be billed bi-monthly. When you would like the subscription to end, simply cancel your subscription by following the 'Manage Subscriptions' link in the email sent confirming your subscription.
What if I want to update my information or cancel?
You can update your account information, payment details, address or cancel your subscription by following the 'Manage Subscriptions' link in the email sent confirming your subscription.
If you need to update any account information, please remember to do so before the 15th of the month a box is scheduled to be sent.
What is your return policy?
Our Boxes are non-returnable. However, if your products have arrived damaged, please let us know and we will do our best to replace them.
What happens if my box doesn’t arrive?
We post all boxes from the UK, using Royal Mail. Please contact us if you have not received your box by the 7th of the following month (in the UK) and by the 20th of the following month (elsewhere).
